We are looking for an experienced Head of Quality Assurance to manage and develop quality assurance operations, ensuring our mobile and web services meet the highest standards and enhance the user experience for golfers worldwide.
As the Head of Quality Assurance, you will play a crucial role in shaping and managing our QA strategy. You will supervise the quality assurance team, oversee testing processes, implement best practices, and collaborate closely with development and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive testing frameworks to maintain and improve the reliability and performance of our services.
To be successful in this position you must be able to work full-time, on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an effective QA strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Supervise and mentor the QA team while managing daily activities to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with development, product, and design teams to ensure efficiency and high-quality releases.
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Establish automated and manual testing frameworks for mobile and web applications.
- Collaborate with product and customer support teams to analyze feedback and enhance product quality and user experience.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing.
What we expect from you
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a managerial QA role with live products with rapid release cycles.
- Strong expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies in mobile and web environments.
- Understanding of the capabilities and limitations of mobile and web platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle, agile methodologies (e.g. Kanban, Scrum), and issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira).
- Solid experience managing and mentoring QA teams.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with organized approach to critical issues.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate issues and testing plans with other teams.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar).
- Fluency in English is mandatory for effective communication within the role.
Considered as an advantage
- Background in software development (e.g. Python) and cloud environments (e.g. AWS).
- Experience with social or sports-related applications.
- Familiarity on golf, game formats and scoring.
