We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Unity Developer to join our social sports mobile application development team.

As a senior developer, you will be an important part of our development team, driving the creation of the next generation of features that will captivate our users. 

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be participating in daily hands-on development, contributing to new and existing features in synergistic collaboration with the product owner and our diverse team of passionate professionals.

You will work collaboratively within the product development team and with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain features improving the user experience for golfers around the globe.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in feature development, code reviews, and design meetings to share engineering expertise and design knowledge across the teams.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Manage technical best practices in development activities.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance and support problem solving.
• Research and apply the latest technology trends, tools, and best practices.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, game development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in Unity mobile application development for iOS and Android.
• Proficient in C#, and deep understanding of the Unity engine's  functionality and capabilities on mobile platforms.
• Experience with native programming using Kotlin and Swift.
• Skills in performance optimization and diagnostics for mobile applications.
• Experience in application networking with backend services. 
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Good problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Fluent Finnish or English language is essential for effective success in the job.

• Familiarity with additional programming languages like C/C++ or Golang.
